In this day and age when we carry many gigabytes of storage on the mobile phones in our pockets, we forget it wasn’t all that long ago a few megabytes of digital storage seemed pretty cool and cost many hundreds of dollars too. Of course, carrying that amount of data around in your pocket would seem laughable as 50 years ago you couldn’t put 5Mb in the back of your truck without a lot of muscular assistance.
