There was a time, not so many years ago we all looked at content online in pretty much the same way. 640 x 480 pixels. As monitors and graphics improved, we started moving the more and more pixels, but there was still a common thread that almost all browsing was done on a desktop computer. Today, every one of us sees the internet is wildly different ways. From our desktops to our laptops. From our tablets to our smartphones… and now with our smart watches too. No single design layout will work with each device to provide optimal design and performance. Even just taking smartphones into consideration, it seems every phone has it’s own pixel depth and dimensions, making each site look different.

Enter Responsive design to the rescue. Responsive design allows a website to change and adapt practically flawlessly to whatever device that website is being viewed in. We started using responsive design a couple of years ago for all our designs and the programmers are making sites look better and better with each new iteration. The folks at Genetech have put together this infographic on the top reasons to adopt responsive design for your website.
