I know, it seems an anathema anymore to find a business that doesn’t have some sort of web presence. It is 2016 after all.  We are not talking about businesses who don’t have mobile friendly websites or websites that rely on outdated technologies like Flash animation. We are talking about those companies who have nothing. That or the companies who point their domain to their Facebook pages in an effort to save money. As big as Facebook is, it still only reaches ¾ of online adults. That’s huge, but it means these companies are happy to forget about 25% of the US online population.

While we don’t recommend building a website on your own, not knowing what works in your industry and what doesn’t, even building your own website is better than nothing in most every case.
